Custom software development

We design and build business software around your processes: order flows, approvals, stock, documents, planning, reporting. One system instead of ten spreadsheets, shaped by the people who use it every day.

When standard tools stop fitting

Most companies start with spreadsheets, email and a few off-the-shelf tools. It works until the business grows: the same data is typed in three places, nobody is sure which file is the latest, and every report takes half a day to assemble.

Buying another generic tool rarely fixes this, because the problem is not a missing feature. It is that your process is specific, and the software is not. Custom software starts from the process and fits the tools around it.

What we build

  • Internal management systems

Orders, requests, approvals, planning and stock in one place, with the rules your company already follows.

  • Client and partner portals

Secure areas where customers or suppliers check status, upload documents and place requests without calling or emailing.

  • Workflow and approval engines

Multi-step processes with roles, deadlines, reminders and a full history of who did what.

  • Document generation

Contracts, offers, delivery notes and reports created automatically from your data, in the right language and format.

  • Replacements for critical spreadsheets

Shared, validated, permission-controlled versions of the files your business depends on.

  • Modernisation of legacy systems

Step-by-step replacement of outdated software without stopping daily operations.

How it fits together

Typical features

Users and access

  • Roles and permissions per department
  • Single sign-on with Microsoft or Google accounts
  • Activity log for every change

Work and data

  • Configurable statuses and workflows
  • Search, filters and saved views
  • Import and export to Excel and CSV
  • File attachments and versioning

Communication

  • Email and in-app notifications
  • Comments and mentions on records
  • Automatic reminders for deadlines

Typical scenario

An illustrative example of the kind of project we build, not a description of a specific client.

Situation

A distribution company manages orders in shared spreadsheets. Sales, warehouse and accounting each keep their own copy, and errors appear at every hand-off.

What we build

A web system where an order is created once and moves through clear statuses: confirmed, picked, shipped, invoiced. Each team sees only its step, and the accounting export is generated automatically.

Result

One source of truth, fewer manual corrections, and order status visible to everyone without asking around.

How the project runs

  1. Process mapping

We sit with the people who do the work and map the current process, including the exceptions.

  2. Scope and prototype

A clickable prototype of the key screens, so you see the system before it is built.

  3. Iterative build

Working software every two weeks, starting with the part that saves the most time.

  4. Data migration

We move your existing data from spreadsheets or old systems, cleaned and checked.

  5. Rollout and training

Launch by team or by location, with training and support in the first weeks.

What you receive

  • Source code and the rights to it
  • Technical and user documentation
  • Deployed system on your infrastructure or ours
  • Admin access and accounts
  • Training for your team
  • A support plan if you want one

Technologies we use

  • React
  • TypeScript
  • Node.js
  • PostgreSQL
  • REST and GraphQL APIs
  • Docker
  • Automated tests

Questions about this service

How long does a custom system take?

A focused first version usually takes a few months. We prefer to launch a useful core early and extend it, rather than build everything at once.

Can it work with our accounting software?

In most cases yes. We connect through the accounting system's API or through regular file exchange, depending on what it supports.

What happens to our current data?

We migrate it. Part of the project is cleaning duplicates and checking the data before it goes into the new system.

Can we change requirements during the project?

Yes. Two-week cycles exist for exactly this reason. We agree changes openly and show their effect on time and budget before doing them.
